A thread lift is an alternative to a surgical facelift or filler treatments for lifting and tightening loose, saggy skin. For a thread lift, the patient is put under local anesthesia and temporary sutures are placed to strategically lift sagging skin. PDO thread lifts are ideal for patients between their late thirties and early fifties, and the results last between one to three years. Older patients may benefit more and longer from a traditional facelift, but thread lifts are so low-risk that they are still a great option.
